Greta is a stunning Chartreux. Yes, Chartreux is a real CFA cat breed, very rare and so special. Before PurrHarmony, Inc took several into care, none of us had seen one in person before.

The gentle, demure, quiet Chartreux is a cat breed that originated in France. Their muscular cobby bodies are covered in a double coated, very thick fur, so thick it looks like it is splitting and when it does so, it resembles that of a sheep.

Chartreux are always blue in color and always have large copper eyes. They are gentle, quiet, non-aggressive and always appear to have a Mona Lisa smile on their face.

So, it goes with GRETA.

Greta is a spayed, senior girl weighing about 10 pounds. She is a bit full-figured and at 10 years old, who is going to argue with her? She has all her claws and is fully vetted including having received her rabies and distemper vaccines, a worming, is microchipped, and has had a full blood panel including a FELV/FIV negative test.
As you can see, she is an eyeful of beauty to behold. She will lie next to you and purr both of you to sleep or quietly gaze out a window watching nature in its glory. Are you a homebody? Retired? An apartment dweller?

Greta would be a perfect fit for a quiet lifestyle. She would do best as an only pet because she is a bit dominant with food and when seeking attention. She will start out shy, but it won’t take long for her sweet side to emerge.
