GETTING TO KNOW ME

Once upon a time, Bianca, Mina and their littermates lived in a mystical forest, full of curious creatures and enchanting landscapes. One day, while exploring, they discovered a magical portal that their adventurous spirits led them through, landing them at PurrHarmony. Bianca and Mina’s loving, curious nature fills our space with joy. Their magical journey has led them to us, but they’re ready for their next big adventure – a forever home. Their sweet companionship and bravery will undoubtedly be a source of constant belonging.

Bianca and Mina are stunning, purebred Ragdoll kittens that are littermates. They both have the most luscious coats with points of brown and lynx with shimmering blue eyes and the most glorious plumes for tails. Both girls have a silkier coat that will require moderate care. It’s not cottony nor prone to significant matting. At only 7 months old they will not mature completely until approximately 4 years old.

Bianca is the more self-confident and outgoing sister while Mina is a cautious and curious girl. Mina looks to Bianca for self-confidence, love and constant snuggles and companionship. Once comfortable (and please be patient), Bianca will throw herself over at your feet for attention and playtime while Mina will slowly follow the lead of Bianca and snuggle up so she can be loved too.

Both girls LOVE to play. It’s so much fun to watch them when zoomies take over. Bianca and Mina thoroughly enjoy the views from atop a tall cat tree placed by a window. It is always a good time to watch birds, blowing leaves and outdoor action. They’re great with different scratching posts both horizontal and vertical. Trimming their nails are fairly easy. A home with a sweet cat or two would be fine, a dog that would ignore them would likely be okay, but all with slow introductions. A quiet, adult home where family is home more than away will help the girls to live their best lives and thrive.

The sisters are perfect with their litterboxes, using a large, open-style box with unscented clumping PetSmart Grass litter. They’ve grown wonderfully in the past months eating Honest Kitchen rehydrated food for breakfast and dinner. Fresh, clean water is always available from fountains. Proper litter box husbandry means one litter box per cat, plus an extra.

Starting out in a room as basecamp with introductions and access to the home should be at a speed acceptable and safe for Bianca, Mina and other pets in the home. Please do your research on proper introductions. It can often take up to 3 months for a cat to feel fully comfortable and integrate into a new family. Patience and understanding is of utmost importance.

Bianca and Mina have gone through FIP protocol and are cured. Please educate yourself on FIP, and make sure your vet is up to speed on FIP. Feel free to ask any appropriate questions. A good place to educate yourself is https://www.fipglobalcats.com/

ABOUT THE BREED

All Ragdolls have the colorpoint gene, meaning that the body is always lighter in color than the head, legs and tail; three of the four Ragdoll patterns also have the bicolor gene, spicing up the pointed marking with dramatic white accents. They are not only beautiful to look at, but an utter delight to live with.

This is one of the larger breeds of cat, with a broad chest, long, muscular body and sturdy boning to match. Their semi-long coat consists primarily of guard hairs and produces a soft, silky texture that is infinitely touchable. The Ragdoll head is a large, modified wedge with a slightly curving profile, and vivid blue oval-shaped eyes. Ragdolls are slow-maturing, reaching full coat color at two years and full size and weight at four.

VETTING PROVIDED

Exam, neutered, tested negative for FELV/FIV & heartworm, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, CBC/Chemistry bloodwork, completed parasite protocol, completed FIP protocol and is microchipped.
