Meet Freya, a kitten with a magical tale. Once upon a time, she and her siblings were guardians of a mystical grove. Her sweet and friendly demeanor enchanted all creatures. Her curiosity led her and her siblings to a magical portal that whisked her to our world. In her new surroundings, she displayed her goofiness and bravery, exploring with a gentle touch and a funny purr. Her cuddles are very endearing. Now, Freya awaits a new family to share her love and enchantment with.

Freya is a beautiful, purebred Ragdoll kitten that has the most magnificent lynxpoint coat with dreamy blue eyes. She has a silky coat that will require moderate care. It’s not cottony nor prone to significant matting. At only 7 months old she will not mature completely until approximately 4 years old.

Freya is playful, curious and a tad cautious at times. Once comfortable (and please be patient) Freya will thoroughly enjoy interactive playtime with a wand, ping pong balls and little stuffies. She enjoys slow blinks and being told just how pretty she is.

Freya thoroughly enjoy the views from atop a tall cat tree placed by a window. It’s always a good time to watch birds, blowing leaves and outdoor action. She’s great with different scratching posts both horizontal and vertical. Trimming her nails are fairly easy. Her ideal home must have a young, sweet cat or adopt one of her littermates or another Purrharmony foster cat. A dog that would ignore her would likely be okay, but all with slow introductions. A quiet, adult home where family is home more than away will help her to keep blossoming and thrive.

She is perfect with her litterboxes, using a large, open-style box with unscented clumping PetSmart Grass litter. She’s grown wonderfully in the past months eating Honest Kitchen rehydrated food for breakfast and dinner. Fresh, clean water is always available from fountains. Proper litter box husbandry means one litter box per cat, plus an extra.

Starting out in a room as basecamp with introductions and access to the home should be at a speed acceptable and safe for Freya and other pets in the home. Please do your research on proper introductions. It can often take up to 3mo for a cat to feel fully comfortable and integrate into a new family. Patience and understanding are of utmost importance.
