GETTING TO KNOW ME

Curry and Saffron are littermates who would love to find a home together! They might be a little shy at first and will require a small room to start off in for a couple weeks while they get acclimated to their new home and people. They are very friendly and curious about new cats but have never been exposed to dogs or young children. They mostly enjoy chasing and wrestling with each other. Saffron plays fetch with an unusual toy, a contact lens container! Curry is the more cuddly of the two, but also a little more mischievous.

They need occasional grooming which they tolerate. However, they will probably try to play with the brush.

The way to Curry’s heart will be through food! Saffron acclimates more quickly but is a bit more aloof than his brother. Curry starts off more shy but will eventually be throwing himself in your arms for cuddles.

Curry and Saffron currently eat IAMS and Purina One Indoor dry food, Honest Kitchen dehydrated food, and a variety of canned diets. The boys love wet food and Churu lickable treats. They are great using large open litter boxes with unscented, clumping litter.

Starting out in a room as basecamp with introductions and access to the home should be at a speed acceptable and safe for Saffron, Curry and other pets in the home. Please do your research on proper introductions. It can often take up to 3 months for a cat to feel fully comfortable and integrate into a new family. Patience and understanding is of utmost importance.
