SPECIFICS

Egyptian Mau: Silver, blue-green eyes, neutered male, 1 year, 12 lbs, has claws.

Cat friendly: Yes, requires another kitty friend in the home.

Dog friendly: Has never been exposed to dogs, but would likely get along with a cat-savvy dog.

Kid friendly: 6 years and older

GETTING TO KNOW ME

Osiris is an outgoing and extra friendly Egyptian Mau looking for his forever family! Osiris does not know a stranger and will immediately try to sit in your lap. He adapts quickly and easily into new environments. He loves his kitty friends and needs to have at least 1 other cat in his forever home.  Osiris would love to even be adopted with one of her current Mau friends! He is often seen cuddling and licking the other cats and also loves to take a nap with you cuddling under the blankets!
 
Osiris is a total goofball and adores toys! Even things that aren’t toys like shoe strings or zippers are fun for him! Osiris will parade toys across the house while carrying them in his mouth! He looks so proud, but he will growl if another cat tries to take away his toy. He doesn’t ever hurt anyone and is just being protective of what he’s hunted! He absolutely loves playing chase and wrestling other kitties. He would get along with many types of kitties and respects other cats’ cues when they don’t feel like being bothered.
 
Osiris currently eats Blue Buffalo Turkey & Potato dry food. He loves treats and will run across the house if he hears the bag! He is great using a large open litter boxes with unscented clumping litter.
 
Osiris has tested positive for feline herpes. All it means is he gets a little drainage from his eye and occasionally a little crusty debris around his nose. He is an extremely healthy young cat who will love you for many years to come!

VETTING PROVIDED 

Neutered, vaccinated (FVRCP/rabies,) tested negative for FIV/FeLV, microchipped, dewormed.

LOCATION AND ADOPTION

Fostered in Columbia, MO

Adoption fee: $450.00.

PurrHarmony, Inc. does not transport or ship cats. We welcome long-distance adopters. Adopters must travel to the foster home or nearest airport (at the discretion of the foster parent.) Must be picked up within 2 weeks of adoption approval/acceptance unless prior arrangements have been made.
