GETTING TO KNOW ME
Donnie is couch arm candy!

He has a coat that feels like bunny fur and his striking sepia mink, tabby and white fur will make want to rub your fingers all over him. Donnie is self-confident once he gets over his initial shyness and is then curious, friendly and loving. He will follow you around, chatty all the while and hop in your lap for some, one-on-one attention. He is wonderful with his Mom Monet who is also available for adoption. Donnie would benefit from a friendly feline companion that is easy going and good at reading other cats and would be fine with a respectful dog and couple of cat savvy kids 13 and over.  Donnie is social and seeks human interaction and needs a family that is around and wants to spend time running through the house with a wand toy.

Donnie has a pretty easy coat but as with most long-haired cats, grooming should be ongoing and nail trims about every 3-4 weeks. Toby eats Honest Kitchen dehydrated food for breakfast and dinner. Donnie uses a large, open top litter box with Worlds Best unscented, scoopable litter. The usual litter box husbandry applies, one box per cat plus an extra, and if the home is a multi-level dwelling, a litter box on each level is recommended.

Donnie may start off shy for a week or two so the usual introductions to family and other pets apply. Start out in a room as base camp with introductions being at a speed acceptable to other pets in the home and Donnie. Slow, patient and steady is a set-up for success.
