Isn’t Turtle pretty! Turtle has been a quiet, sweetheart since she joined us. She will start out quite shy and hide. She’s even more stunning in person. Once she trusts you, her potential is limitless, but you’ll need to be patient, understanding and sweet. As always, starting out in a “base camp” one room until she’s comfortable expanding her space is a must as well as slow introductions. She loves scratching posts and toys of all kinds.

She would thrive in a chill home; an active home would have her hiding. She needs a place where there’s lots of time to chill and snuggle while people binge watch movies, read, work on a computer or craft and occasionally want to play with her. A home with a mellow cat would be great since she bonds to other sweet cats, cat friendly dog that would ignore her and kids 12 years or older that are super chill and cat savvy would be great for her.

She currently uses an uncovered litter box and unscented clumping litter. She eats a breakfast and dinner of Honest Kitchen brand dehydrated food and enjoys a stainless-steel water fountain.
