Star joined us through the CFA Breed Rescue Program. She is a gorgeous British Shorthair looking for a home where she can let her personality blossom. She can start off shy and tries to hide, but quickly comes around.  Star loves to snuggle up in a cubby during the day but enjoys seeing her people when they come in her room. She will happily rub against you and allow you to pet her but is still a little unsure about approaching right off the bat. She likes toys and snacks as well as sniffing out an open window.  Star is incredibly intelligent and can open drawers and cabinets, so she will make sure it’s never a dull moment!

Star has some physical maturing to do as British Shorthairs will fill out into their quintessential cobby body and chubby cheeks as they age. Her dense coat is super soft and doesn’t need much maintenance. She is an easy maintenance kind of girl! 

Star does fabulously with other cats and often rubs on or headbutts other kitties. She would be fine with children 12 years and older since she can start off shy and hide and doesn’t care to be held or carried around. Star has lived with a dog and we feel she would do well with a cat-friendly, mellow canine friend.
