GETTING TO KNOW HER
Poppy is a darling 1.5 year old smoke torbie British Shorthair! This petite lady has the most dense and plush coat with a round, expressive face quintessential to her breed. Miss Poppy is outgoing and friendly and she will happily rub against you to ask for petting. She loves lap time and lounging but can occasionally find herself chasing a toy. She wants to be queen of her new kingdom and can be a bit sassy at times. Poppy will give warnings if she’s feeling particularly saucy, but is quick to give a little grumble and swat when she doesn’t like something. In new environments, it doesn’t take long to acclimate and claim her kingdom. Poppy loves treats and all types of food and has perfect litterbox habits.

Poppy does well with other cats and has lived with dogs. She can be spunky if others get in her face, so we’d like her to go to a home with only calm and respectful pets. She would be ok with a family who has cat-savvy children 12 year and older.
