GETTING TO KNOW ME

Percy is a sweet hunk of kitten. He loves being talked with, loves being pet, tolerates being groomed, loves playing, loves a cat tree placed by a window and loves really enjoys a plate licking meal. Percy likes to be in the thick of family life!

Percy won’t take long to acclimate and he’s pretty easy-peasy. Because he’s a kitten, there must be another young, fun loving, sweet cat in the home or you can adopt his sister Lilly with him. Do you have a sweet dog that really enjoys cats?  If you do, Percy having a cat loving dog in his home is HUGE plus for him because he ADORES dogs of any size. He’d be good with respectful kids, and he must be an integral part of the family.

Being a flat-faced boy, he’ll need the usual eye cleaning and he doesn’t mind one bit. So far, his coat has been pretty easy, but he is large and hairy and it’s guaranteed he will shed, so regular combing is encouraged to maintain his very thick coat. Trimming nails isn’t a problem—he’s just a bit wiggly.

Percy is great with his litter box and currently uses open top litter boxes with unscented scoopable litter. He is schedule fed wet food for breakfast and dinner and eats off a flat bowl to accommodate his face and whiskers. No free feeding or he’d become huge and unhealthy very fast.

Starting out in a room as basecamp with introductions and access to the home should be at a speed acceptable and safe for Percy and other pets in the home.

Percy and his sister were treated and cured of FIP.
