GETTING TO KNOW MATT

From the heart of a foster mom—Matt will take your breath away as you soak in his movements, the ripples of his muscular frame and his haunting blue eyes. (Sounds like a steamy paperback, doesn’t it?) He will captivate and capture every bit of compassion and intrigue you can muster. Be prepared to be challenged and devoted to demonstrating your love and care to gain his trust and confidence. With time the bond that comes only from a Siamese will emerge. His time in rescue, having joined us via the CFA breed rescue program, has been a reawakening of a personality and characteristics that are inherent with his Siamese background. He will doubt you and test you. Mattie is intelligent and will always error on the side of caution. You may trick him once, but he will remember. 

 If you have ever loved and understood a Siamese, you get it. You are the person he needs. Matt will take time, routine and commitment and is worth every last ounce you have to give. There is no predicting how far he will come. Matt is handsome. His chocolate points are smooth and rich, his coat deep vanilla. He will silently observe you and chooses a perch to look down from above. Sometimes the reward is just in watching him and sharing space together. 

His weakness is Churu treats. They will help you to bond and are perfect if he ever needs to be pilled. Liquid medication is easily mixed with food and consumed without issue. How easy is that? He has learned that toys are actually fun! Nothing is more special than the rare moment when he chooses to climb into your lap and take a long, restful nap. How wonderful to gaze into those azure blue eyes and for both of you to doze off.  

If you love the relationship and bond of a Siamese and are willing to invest a lifetime into him, please apply. He is currently living with 2 other Siamese, Bentley and Layla who have some similar emotional challenges. Matt does well with them especially Bentley and they would be a great pair or even a trio. He would do best with another cat to model and to snuggle with during quiet times and tumble with to burn off some energy. 

Vetting provided: Neutered, Rabies and Distemper vaccines, wormed, several full blood panels and urinalyses, tested negative for FELV/FIV, has had a dental with extractions, is microchipped. 

MATT is located in OSHKOSH, WI. His adoption fee is waived for the right person who has and knows the heart of a Siamese.

PurrHarmony does not transport or ship cats. New owners must pick up the new family member in person. When convenient, a foster parent may agree to meet the adopter at an airport convenient to the foster home.
