GETTING TO KNOW ME
Manissa couldn’t be more lovely. When she perches at the top of a cat tree and coyly looks your way, she is absolutely mesmerizing. She is lean and lanky, giving the aura of elegance and beauty. Manissa is a super happy girl who loves to play, chase and fly through the air with the greatest of ease when a wand toy makes an appearance. She is curious and easy-going, always ready for an adventure. Let’s explore!
Manissa happily shares space with others in a donut bed, on your lap or a cat tree. She is great with other cats and will back away from trouble versus causing a ruckus. Expect her to join the party of play and become part of the tumbling act during a zoomie session.
Manissa loves to be busy and should have feline and human companionship. Being left alone for extended periods of time without human touch and attention is cruel for her. She should have lots of high and low places to explore, many snuggly blankets and plenty of good food. loves to be busy and should have feline and human companionship.
Although she definitely does have a coat, it is thin, stiff and a variation of the naked pattern. Not to be confused with a sphynx cat, Donskoy is quite the opposite. The hairless trait in Donskoy is derived from the mutation of a dominant gene. (In sphynx the hairless trait comes from a recessive gene. Although any cat can develop HCM, Donskoy are not predisposed to it like sphynx.) Also, unlike the sphynx some Donskoy, like Manissa, have hair.
Unlike her naked relatives, Manissa does not need a ton of grooming. Her coat does not mat. There is enough hair to absorb the oils naturally produced by her body, so she does not feel waxy nor need to be regularly bathed. Expect normal ear and nail maintenance as you would for any cat. Donskoy are NOT hypoallergenic.
Manissa is schedule fed twice per day including a breakfast of Honest Kitchen along with some kibble. She enjoys a mix of Nutro and ProPlan kibble. She has his choice
of multiple litterboxes with unscented clumping litter that are scooped several times per day.
VETTING PROVIDED
To ensure ultimate health, Manissa is spayed, rabies and FVRCP vaccinated, been tested negative for FELV/FIV, has been dewormed and treated for parasites, and is microchipped.
