GETTING TO KNOW ME

Lilly has a face like a little fairy and is enchanting. She’ll follow you around, loves being talked to, loves being pet, tolerates being groomed, loves playing with a wand toy, loves a cat tree placed by a window and really enjoys her mealtime. Lilly also loves a good shoulder ride and neck snuggle!

Lilly won’t take long to acclimate and she’s pretty easy-peasy just like her brother Percy. Because she’s a kitten, there must be another young, fun loving, sweet cat in the home or you can adopt her brother Percy with her. Lilly really enjoys being part of a family and a kid that’s respectful of cats or a dog that’s a sweetie to cats would be great with Lilly. This little girl has been known to ride the shoulder during video calls or while browsing the fridge for a snack. She’s not a fan of parties and lots of visitors so if that’s your house on a regular basis, she’s probably not a good fit. At the last small gathering, as guests were being escorted out she took the opportunity to come out from hiding and snatch a pork-chop and run down the hallway with it. Gotta have a sense of humor, kindness and tolerance with cats and especially kittens.

Being a flat-faced girl, she’ll need the usual eye cleaning and she doesn’t mind one bit. Her coat is pretty thick and right now its a seasonal change and she’s shedding more than usual. Regular combing is encouraged to maintain her very thick coat. Trimming nails isn’t a problem she’s just a bit wiggly.

Lilly is great with her litter box and currently uses open top litter boxes with unscented scoopable litter. She is schedule fed wet food for breakfast and dinner and eats off a flat bowl to accommodate her flat face and whiskers. No free feeding or she’ll become huge and unhealthy very fast. Watch your pork chops!!

Starting out in a room as basecamp with introductions and access to the home should be at a speed acceptable and safe for Lilly and other pets in the home.

Lilly and her brother were treated and cured of FIP.
