GETTING TO KNOW ME

Levi is a special kitty who is just starting to live his absolute best life. His coat is clean, he can breathe through his repaired nose, he has great food, and he is learning how cool toys are. It is an exciting time to be alive. This substantial chunk of love is thick and solid with a gorgeous seriously white coat with accents of brown patch tabby. His current lion cut leaves him with a tail pom pom that sways in delight.

This inquisitive guy puts a smile on his foster mom’s face every single day. He follows her lead, leaning into loving and relaxing with gentle massages. His new person can continue to help him by teaching appropriate reactions. (If you wrestle and tease, he gets rough. But if you settle in and relax, so does he.) He loves nothing more than to snuggle into the crook of your arm on his back and take a little snooze.

Since he is just learning about the good life, Levi will start out shy. He may hide for a bit to get his feet under him. Food is an excellent tool; sitting at his level helps his confidence; quiet times and gentle touch will have him eating out of your hands in no time.

Every toy is appreciated. They are a special treat. He does not need anything extraordinary, just you and the basics. A gentle, confident feline companion can help lead the way, but he is okay on his own too.

Levi has a very thick coat that will need regularly combing. Please do not get a brush. Your best grooming tool will be a greyhound comb. Our favorite is the Chris Christensen butter comb. Because of his flatter face and white fur, his eye drainage is quite evident. Regular use of tear stain remover Eye Envy works wonders. Levi is quite patient with eye cleaning which is currently a daily task.

Mealtime is one of Levi’s favorite times of day. He is currently fed a hearty serving of Honest Kitchen twice daily. He does have some kibble available for grazing but eats little of it. He is perfect with his litterboxes which are big and open, filled with unscented clumping litter.

Levi would do well in an apartment or a regular home. He will do great with his own individual person, a couple or a cat savvy older teenager too.

VETTING PROVIDED

To ensure ultimate health, Levi is neutered, current on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, is FELV/FIV negative, has been dewormed and has had blood work. He has had corrective Stenotic nares surgery to allow him to breathe comfortably. He also just had a dental, was treated for parasites and is microchipped.
