Bitsy

BITSY is the happiest little Tortie Point Himalayan. She is totally adored by her foster family and is also known as Itty Bits and Miss Bits. Bitsy does know her name! Itty Bits joined PurrHarmony via our partnership with the CFA Breeders Assistance Program. She’s two years old, weighs about 6-1/2 pounds and has a nice coat on the ‘medium’ maintenance scale. It does require frequent combing to maintain and Bits is okay with that. She has only one eye and that eye does require wiping daily to keep it clean. She does very well navigating around with one eye, but her people must be careful and conscious that she has a blind spot and may not see you or an object on her blind side. Bitsy’s nostrils are nice and open thanks to the nares surgery she had with PurrHarmony’s vet. Due to the removal of her eye, the nostril on that side occasionally discharges mucous that would have normally been wiped from her eye. Who knew! Bitsy’s litter box habits are absolutely perfect.

This beautiful soul loves everyone (people & pets) and loves to be pet and will circle at your feet and rub her face all over your hand. She even stands on her back feet to better push into your hand. She will sit propped next to her people on the couch or just lay on her back at your feet welcoming belly rubs. And her purrrrrr seems to never shut off. She has a tiny meow at times but is mostly just quiet and happy go lucky. She is the TOTAL package! Her favorite toy is the sparkle ball as seen in the picture. She loves to bat that around on a hard surface floor. Bitsy currently prefers to graze on dry food, but supplementing with wet food is highly encouraged for her best life.

Itty Bits is excellent with other cats that will not bully her, kids old enough to understand her blind spot, and cautious but curious with a cat friendly dog. This little girl is a gem and is seeking a home that will treasure her forever.

Bitsy has had a veterinary wellness visit. She was spayed and had nares surgery, had a dental, tested negative for FELV/FIV/Heartworm, wormed, vaccinated against rabies and distemper and microchipped.
