SPECIFICS
Purebred Persian: White with red, copper eyes, neutered male, 7.5 years, 8 lbs, has claws.
Cat friendly: Yes, slow introductions, ideally 3 or less cats in the home currently.
Dog friendly: Maybe. Has never seen or met one. If a dog is part of the family, it must be 100% mellow.
Kid friendly: 13+ years, cat respectful and cat savvy.
Special needs: None.
GETTING TO KNOW ME
Hustler is an easy-peasy, no muss-no fuss Persian just looking for someone to share a couch and a cushy bed. Wouldn’t it be nice to come home to a guy who demands nothing but adds some life and love to your quiet home?
Hustler is grateful for the opportunity to sleep the day away, have a couple of yummy meals, have his pick of toys (a sparkly wand toy is pretty cool), and enjoy a clean litterbox whenever mother nature calls upon him. Like most cats he likes his naps but will be front and center waiting for his breakfast and his dinner scolding just enough to let you know he shouldn’t be forgotten.
Hustler is a wee bit shy. Patience and his own safe space to adjust in upon arrival is a must for an easier transition. Allowing him to acclimate with zero social expectations will bring out the best in him.
Currently growing out of a lion cut, he has a beautiful white coat with splotches of red that will grow back in thick and cottony. If his new family prefers to see him in all that glory, they should be prepared to render gentle grooming on a regular basis. A greyhound comb (we really like the cat buttercombs by Chris Christensen) are the best tool. Brushes break a lot of hair and do not get down to the matting below the surface. Always use a comb. His eyes do weep on occasion and are easily maintained with a cotton round and Eye Envy.
Hustler thinks that Honest Kitchen is super yummy and enjoys a good plop of it every morning and night. He can also snack throughout the day on ProPlan kibble just in case he gets the munchies.
Hustler is not a kiddos’ cat. He would much rather be with an adult human or two who are looking to fill an empty void. He is fine with another cat who is respectful if slow introductions are implemented. He does great with big open litterboxes and unscented clumping litter.
VETTING PROVIDED
To ensure ultimate health, Hustler is neutered, current on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, is FELV/FIV negative, has been dewormed and has had blood work. He has had corrective Stenotic nares surgery to allow him to breathe comfortably. He also just had a dental, was treated for parasites and is microchipped.

Adoption fee: $300
Cat must be picked up within two weeks of adoption approval/acceptance unless prior arrangements have been made.
