GETTING TO KNOW ME

Dill is a purebred Russian Donskoy with a little bit of a bristly coat, mostly on his tail. He may lose this hair as he ages or the seasons change, or could even grow a thicker, bushier coat! Dill had an underdeveloped eye that had to be removed, but it does not slow him down or hinder his everyday life.

Dill is a sweet, playful, and happy kitten! Dill loves to rub on you and snuggle in your lap while he purrs, but also loves to play! Dill will carry toys in his mouth and loves to jump for strings! He also loves to rough house and wrestle with his littermates! Dill will zoom, leap, and run all over the place!  When he finally settles down, Dill can be a good cuddler and loves to pile in a bed with her littermates.  Dill is a total sweetheart and loves his people!

Dill needs regular ear cleaning and his nail beds cleaned. Dill has not had a successful bath and will need further work to make the process less scary and keep him comfortable. Dill does excellent with nail trims!

Dill eats Purina Pro Plan kitten dry food and a variety of canned diets. He happily uses an open litterbox with unscented, scoopable clay litter.

Not to be confused with a sphynx cats, Donskoy are quite the opposite. The hairless trait in Donskoy is derived from the mutation of a dominant gene. (In sphynx the hairless trait comes from a recessive gene. Although any cat can develop HCM, Donskoy are not predisposed to it like sphynx.) Reminder: Donskoy are NOT hypoallergenic.

VETTING PROVIDED

To ensure ultimate health, Dill is neutered with an eye removed, vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP, tested negative for FELV/FIV, has been dewormed and treated for parasites, and is microchipped.
