Carla is a sweet companion looking for…well, a sweet companion to call her very own. She is a tiny girl barely six pounds who just wants to find a soft bed, a floofy couch and a human to hang out with to pass the day away. Really, what more does one need beyond, a roof, healthy food, good company and safety?

Toys are a new thing for her, and she is enjoying learning how to have fun. She also enjoys soaking in all the petting and appreciates calm and deliberate attention. Carla is curious but cautious. She enjoys the company of other kitty friends who want to “pal around” but can be bullied by more dominant personalities. She does find the door to her foster room intriguing. She clearly knows there is a mystery land beyond the confines of her safe room.

It is hard to not love the look of a black and white tuxedo kitty with gorgeous pumpkin eyes and white whiskers! Carla makes it easy because she is perfect with her litterbox that is large and open with unscented clumping litter. She does a wonderful job of eating. She enjoys a healthy plop of Honest Kitchen rehydrated wet food daily along with ProPlan kibble for snacking.

Her coat is filling back in and is easy maintenance with some combing (never brushing). She does have eye discharge that is mostly hidden with her dark fur but is also easily removed with a cotton round and Eye Envy.

Because of her cautious nature, a single person, a couple or a family with a teenager would be most appropriate. She would do well in an apartment. A household with routines that are calm and on the quiet side would be ideal. Another chill feline companion would be fine. She has never been around kids or dogs.
