GETTING TO KNOW HIM

Come on, who doesn’t like a little bit of Basil. Our Basil is a typical sweet Persian kitten and like most kittens/cats, Basil will need a single room to start out in, often referred to as “base-camp” with slow introductions and expansion of his space at his pace. With other animals he may start out hissy because the smells are all so new and he’s still learning. He gets comfortable quick with humans and will endear you with his sweet meows as he tries to engage you in conversation. He’s very playful, sweet, and a snuggle muffin.

Basil must go to a home with another playful, kind and sweet cat/kitten or be adopted with one of our other kittens or cats. “Single kitten syndrome” is a real thing and it’s just not in a kitten’s best interest to be an only cat. Even with another feline playmate, human interactive play, enrichment and love will help Basil grow into a wonderful adult cat. He is a sweet kitten so another friendly cat must be part of the family. A cat friendly dog and or a respectful cat savvy kid would also be appropriate. Please expect typical Persian coat care and eye care, with daily eye wipes and combing out knots as they appear.  We expect Basil to be on the bigger side, probably over 10lbs as an adult.

Basil has typical Persian kitten energy, plays hard but not overly and then crashes for a good snuggle nap. He requires daily combing and eye wiping. He is currently using a large, uncovered litter box and scoopable, unscented litter. He enjoys breakfast and dinner of Honest Kitchen brand dehydrated food and has a stainless water fountain for fresh water on-demand.

Neutered, microchipped, tested negative for Heartworm/FIV/FeLV, vaccinations for FVRCP/rabies, and dewormed.
