GETTING TO KNOW ME
Hello. HELLO. Um…HELLOOOOOOO. Hi, I’m Audrey and I just wanted to be sure that you did not miss me. As you can already see I am a gorgeous girl looking for my own throne in a home that is ready to dote on me. Please be prepared to pet me, talk to me, love me and then do it all over again. Did I make that clear enough for you?
Audrey is a spunky lady who is making up for lost time in the attention department. She is the first to greet her foster mom at the door, first to hit the food dishes and will be front and center when the feather wand makes an appearance. She is full of life with a personality to boot.
Audrey is growing out of a lion cut and will have a very full, semi-cottony coat when she has grown out. Be prepared to keep up with her grooming with a good comb (never a brush) daily. Her eyes do drain true to the Persian breed, and it shows more than some because of her nearly all white face. Despite her spunky demeanor she is easy to groom, clip nails and wipe eyes.
Her new person/family should respect her wishes. She can become overly stimulated with too much petting. When this happens if you continue or play rough, she will get nippy. It is not meant maliciously, and she is easily redirected. Because she is a bit dominant with other cats, she will get after another when she is overstimulated. Audrey is easy to read so help her be her best self.
Currently she enjoys her meals that include Honest Kitchen rehydrated food 1-2 times a day and ProPlan kibble to nibble on for snacks throughout the day. She is perfect with her litterbox habits using several large, open boxes with clumping unscented litter.
Audrey is not particularly vocal and would do well as an only kitty or with others who fit well with her personality. She would do best in an adult only home or with an older child. Young children would not be a good fit for her.
VETTING PROVIDED
To ensure ultimate health, Audrey is spayed, current on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, is FELV/FIV negative, has been dewormed and treated for parasites. She has had corrective stenotic nares surgery to allow her to breathe comfortably. She also just had a dental and is microchipped.
