Crystal is an absolutely delightful girl full of sugar and spice! To think about her is to break out into a big old smile and sometimes to do a full-on belly laugh. She is smart, playful, loves some petting and more than anything loves to … eat. A confident, attentive feline, Crystal will almost instantly interact and ask for a massage and snuggles. To know her is to love her and to know her means you just darn better be ready to give her what she wants!

Crystal is a pure, solid white, extremely thick coated chunk. She may not be runway thin and svelte, but she will climb to the top of the cat tree, stalk a crinkle ball with ease, and pounce on a wand toy with the ease of a fairy. 

In providing care for her expect to clean her eyes daily and keep a close watch on waxy buildup in her ears. She is prone to a bit of chin acne that can be maintained with the use of clean glass or ceramic dishes. That thick, thick coat will shed at times, but regular combing will keep the loose fur in check. 

Crystal lived much of her life with other cats and can co-exist, but she is happiest without other cats. She does not openly provoke or fight with others but will stand her ground and will not tolerate others in her personal space with a good “paw whap” especially if food is involved. A girl must eat!

She is happiest in her own space with her human. She will lie near you, around your head, purr forever melting into the hand while being pet. Grab a wand toy and see how high she can jump, how quickly she will chase a ball and slam into a wall to capture it. 

Crystal would be the perfect fit for someone who is home frequently who wants a companion to discuss the weather, sports or the local news. Working from home would be great. A retired lifestyle would be even better. Young children or an active household is not the place for her. She would likely be fine with a quiet dog who ignored her.

Crystal currently enjoys Nutro kibble and 4-Health or ProPlan wet food. To be honest, she enjoys them too much and is a bit full figured. She would be healthiest if schedule fed in measured amounts. She is perfect with her litterboxes that are large, open and maintained with unscented, scoopable, clumping litter.
