GETTING TO KNOW ME
We have a table tennis and soccer player on our hands! Sweet and quiet Lisette is not quite so quiet when it comes to play time! She is a hoot to watch as she bats toys around the room, giving chase and shooting goals. She loves the tower of balls too and will bat them ‘round and ‘round for minutes on end. She is great entertainment.
Lisette is typically quiet, reserved and independent. Like us humans, she enjoys long naps and a soft, warm bed. (That is of course unless she decides it is play time. See above. ) Lisette sleeps very soundly and does not always hear her people enter the room. She may have some hearing loss but that is not possible to assess.
Lisette is a great kitty to keep you company and have your house become a home. You will not be lonely with this new roommate. She has not shown herself to be a lap cat but is happy being around you.
Currently groomed into a lion cut, her beautiful, muted cream, blue and white colors are just starting to fill in with a mostly white body and accents of color throughout. When fully coated we would expect her to be medium care. Her eyes should be cleaned regularly. Lisette has a very flat face with small nostrils. She snorts and wheezes sometimes due to those teeny, tiny openings. We did provide her with stenotic nares surgery, but she had very little tissue to work with, so the success was limited.
Lisette has no issue with other non-dominant cats and co-exists with any who are not bullies. She will start out very shy and should be afforded a slow and patient introduction. Kids and lots of activity will overwhelm her. A quiet, routine home would be great! Apartment life? No problem.
Lisette enjoys 4-Health wet food twice a day along with 4-Health and Science Diet kibble. She always uses large open litter boxes with unscented clumping litter.
