GETTING TO KNOW HER
Oh, what a pretty little calico with such soft and curious eyes. Raleigh is beautiful and “she’s so fluffy”!  She will need patience and understanding while she learns to trust you, but it shouldn’t take long! As always, starting out in “base camp” in one room until comfortable, slow introductions and expanding space only when she and all others in the home are comfortable is a must. She LOVES Churu lickable cat treats. She likes it if you are on the floor at her level and talk quietly to her, no looming, loudness or fast movements!

Raleigh is just waiting to blossom with the right forever home that goes at a pace that she is comfortable with. A home with another passive, friendly cat would help her on her way. A dog that would ignore her and children over 12 years old would be appropriate. Her coat is crazy thick and wooly with high upkeep and eye care is low to average for the Persian breed. Currently she uses an uncovered litter box and an unscented clumping litter. She eats a breakfast and dinner of Honest Kitchen brand dehydrated food and enjoys a stainless-steel water fountain. This is probably not the Persian for you if it’s your first because her Persian coat is seriously one of the thickest we’ve seen and she will most likely need a certified master cat groomer to help keep her in tip-top shape.
