Isabella had a rough start to life with years of her littermate constantly bullying her to the point she was given up for adoption. It has taken quite a bit of time and decompression for her to be truly comfortable. She still is not happy around other animals and we honestly don’t blame her after a lifetime of being harassed. She is looking for a quiet, low-key home who will dedicate themselves to her being their only pet. She will also need a few weeks in a small room to really adjust and get to know her new people.

Isabella is chatty with a squeaky voice and enjoys occasional playtime of catnip and stick toys. Her favorite thing in the world is just being pet by her person while she purrs away. She even likes belly rubs when she flops on her side!  Isabella isn’t super demanding and is just a big sweetie once she opens up!  She’s currently not a lap cat and is not fond of being held, but we know she still has blossoming to do the more comfortable she gets.

Isabella likes dry, canned, and freeze-dried food and prefers fish flavors. As a lady with a refined palate, we have assembled a menu for Isabella with a list of her favorite wet dining offerings to take the guess work out of what she wants to eat. Isabella does a moderate amount of shedding typical of short haired cats, but doesn’t really require brushing. She just needs regular nail trims, so she’s an easy maintenance kind of kitty!
