Cocoa is a LOVER X 100!!! Food motivated— nope. I know what you’re thinking! How is he 18 lbs. and not food motivated?? Free feeding of kibble is a no-no for him. A must is a breakfast and dinner of wet food which will help him continue to lose some of his excess weight. Mr. Beans starts out shy for about 2 weeks and then the gates of love open and just try and keep him away from the loving touch and attention of humans. He has no sense of personal space whatsoever once he trusts people.

We heard that Cocoa had litter box issues at his previous home, but we believe it was environmental. He has been a sweetheart with great bathroom habits at two of our foster homes. Like all of us, he needs a bathroom (litter box) that is clean, is accommodating (large, no lid, unscented litter) of his size and a low side for entry. Cocoa’s jam would be a more chill home, not so crazy. You know a place where there’s lots of time to snuggle while his people binge watch movies, read, work on a computer or craft. Keep in mind, big boy has no respect of your personal space, he will lay on your laptop, your homework or your crafting supplies. On top of all that wonderfulness, he likes to talk with his people, telling them of his life, travels and need for love. He would flourish in a home with maybe a mellow cat, cat friendly dog or even a home without pets. He would not do well spending many hours alone. He’s a needy young man.
