Rosalie joined us through the CFA Breed Rescue Program. She is a young, friendly girl who will be excited to find a forever home where she can snuggle up on a lap! She is quiet and well-mannered and enjoys the simple things in life like a cozy place to snooze and some yummy food. Rosalie will happily cuddle up and purr the day away and will gently reach her paw out to tell you she wants more petting. She can also occasionally be found playing with a string or batting around a toy.

Rosalie has some physical maturing to do as British Shorthairs will fill out into their quintessential cobby body and chubby cheeks as they age. Her dense coat is super soft and doesn’t need much maintenance. She needs occasional wiping of her eyes, but mostly is an easy maintenance kind of girl! She has some mild gum inflammation (not stomatitis or anything extreme) so she may need more frequent dental cleanings as opposed to some other cats.

Rosalie does fabulously with other cats and warms up quickly in new environments. She doesn’t cuddle other cats, but is quite comfortable with others. She would be fine with children 6 years and older, but prefers not to be picked up and carried around. Rosalie has lived with a dog and we feel she would do well with a cat-friendly, mellow canine friend.
