GETTING TO KNOW ME

Harmony joined us through our relationship with the CFA Breed Rescue Program. She is a rare find for any cat lover to appreciate and dote upon—a British Longhair! She is often found lounging around or cuddled in her toy box at her foster home. She doesn’t really approach or ask for attention from people, but if you go up to her, she immediately purrs and raises her hind end in the air for petting! Harmony will occasionally play with a toy and give the tiniest meow when it’s food time!

Harmony is drop dead gorgeous and British Longhairs have very interesting and unique coats! She has a dense coat that is super soft. It’s short down her back with wispy, fine, long hair around her sides, legs, and tail. She is an easy maintenance kind of girl but may need a sanitary trim to keep her rear fluff clean.

Harmony coexists with other cats, but prefers for them to respect her personal space. She mostly keeps to herself. She would be fine with children 6 years and older as long as they just pet and play with her – she doesn’t care to be held or carried around. Harmony has lived with a dog and we feel she would do well with a cat-friendly, mellow canine friend.
