Driving Miss Daisy HOME! 

She knows what she wants and we know what she needs. Daisy came to PurrHarmony through the CFA Breed Rescue Program.  

Daisy is a darling 6.5-year-old blue cream spayed British Shorthair. This petite lady has the most dense and plush coat with a round, expressive face quintessential to her breed. Miss Daisy is outgoing and friendly and she will happily rub against you to ask for petting. She loves lap time and lounging but can occasionally find herself chasing a toy. She is not a super needy cat and is quite calm and low key and extremely well mannered. In new environments, she likes to find a place on the sidelines to observe her surroundings but is not shy. It does not take long before she wants out of the foster room to explore the rest of the house. Daisy loves treats and all types of food, but at 9# she is a bit chunkier than is ideal. We definitely want to ensure Daisy’s new family keeps tabs on her weight and monitors her diet closely.  

Daisy does well with other cats and has lived with a dog. She can be spunky if others get in her face, so we would like her to go to a home with only calm and respectful pets. She would be ok with a family who has children 10 and older. Daisy would also be happy as an only pet.  

Daisy tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia, has been vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP, is wormed, is spayed and microchipped. She had part of her tail amputated years ago (for reasons unknown to us) but it does not seem to bother her.

PurrHarmony does not transport or ship cats. New owners must pick up the new family member in person. When convenient, a foster parent may agree to meet the adopter at an airport convenient to the foster home.
