Selkirk Rex
Sierra
How lucky are YOU to have this precious girl available to join your household. Sierra came to PurrHarmony through the CFA Breed Rescue Program and has been a joy in foster care.
She is a 4.5-year-old spayed Selkirk Rex with the most gorgeous red wavy coat and curly whiskers! This 9# girl is the epitome of friendly and she walks into any new place with confidence and curiosity. She loves playing with a variety of toys, watching out the windows, and exploring every inch of her foster home. Sierra is so excited to greet everyone with purrs and biscuits and is happy to settle down and snuggle on your lap! She is pretty low maintenance for grooming but will do a moderate amount of shedding. Sierra loves treats and is not picky about her food options as she eats dry and wet in a variety of brands and flavors. We think Sierra is an absolute gem of a kitty and anyone would be lucky to have such a spunky, affectionate, and outgoing companion!
Sierra would be fine in a family with children 6 years or older. She has lived with other cats and a dog before but would ideally have a slower introduction with new animals as she is quick to be a bit sassy (but never hurting anyone.) She would likely relish having all the attention as an only cat.
Sierra is spayed, has tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia, has been vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP, is wormed and microchipped.
Fostered in Columbia, Missouri. Adoption fee: $350.00.
