Scottish Fold

Coaltin

Coaltin is ready for his forever home!

What a treasure we have. Coaltin is a relaxed, sweet tempered, beautiful 2-year-old, longhaired, Brown Tabby and White, Scottish Fold with striking copper eyes. Coaltin likes to play, eat some wet food and then it’s snuggle time. He will greet you with his large loving eyes and a quiet meow.

Coaltin is neutered, 9-pounds, has his claws and has a coat that should be combed daily. Coaltin has had a comprehensive veterinary wellness visit, tested negative for FELV/FIV/Heartworm, is wormed, vaccinated, and microchipped. He has great bathroom habits and is an easy boy. He is currently eating wet cat food and uses an open litter box.

Scottish folds are sometimes afflicted with Osteochondrodysplasia. Osteochondrodysplasia is a genetic condition which causes the cute, folded ears in Scottish folds but can also negatively affects the cartilage in their joints. Fortunately, both Coaltin and Amaya have had x-rays to rule out the presence of this condition at this time.

Although Coaltin is not bonded to his littermate and sister Amiya, it is preferable that they be adopted as a perfect pair. Preference will be given to applications for the pair. A quieter home with a respectful cat, gentle dog, and older respectful kids would be perfect. Even though he’s an easy boy, proper adjustment time to a new space and slow introductions are always encouraged.
